My Knees Cant Take it Anymore

Your knee is the most complex joints in the body and due to our shift in movement over the past few hundred years- this joint may unfortunately be suffering the most. Our knee practically just wants us to understand it and work with and not against it.

Just to give you a quick insight for the first time in history we have so many knee pains from: Osteoarthritis, knee effusion, meniscal tear, ACL, PCL, Septic arthritis, gout, pseudogout, bursitis, patellar tendonitis and much more…

The reason behind all of this comes from diet, incorrect movement, extra load on the joint, and lack of intrinsic muscle to support the joint plus plus plus....

The best exercise to start to strengthen you actual knee is to do knee extensions. Let’s get started. Sit down on a chair keeping both knees bent. Slowly extend your right leg up to a 90 degree angle and hold. While you perform this exercise focus on lengthening your leg muscles so even all 5 toes are reaching out. Engage your quad, inner and out thighs and abdominals. Yes, the abdominals! Combine this exercise with a bit of breath, inhale sit tall, exhale extend your right leg upwards tightening the belly muscles. Switch legs. Repeat 10-12 reps/3 sets 3 times a week.

If you feel this is to easy attach an elastic band to your ankle for resistance or a light ankle weight and perform the same exercise. Stay tuned for more!
